Deep Dish Buttermilk Biscuit Pizza
Dinner shouldn’t take all night, and with this recipe it doesn’t have to! Biscuit dough brings a fun spin to this tasty pizza.
Ingredients
- 16 Mary B’s® Buttermilk Biscuits, room temperature
- 12 oz. Pizza Sauce
- 1 C Shredded Pizza Style Cheese
- 1 C Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- ¼ C Parmesan Cheese
- 1 lb Ground Sausage*
- 3.5 oz Sliced Pepperoni (1 pkg)*
- 4 oz Mushrooms (1 can)*
- ½ Onion, chopped*
- *Feel free to use these or replace them with any of your favorite pizza toppings.
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. In a skillet, cook sausage over medium heat until cooked through. Drain.
3. Grease a 9” round baking pan.
4. Quarter biscuit dough and place evenly in the baking dish.
5. Sprinkle sausage over the dough.
6. Layer with pepperoni, mushrooms, and onion.
7. Top with pizza sauce and cheeses.
8. Bake uncovered for 30 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
